Can I pay my registration online or over the phone?
You can register online using the above button, however you must pay via check or money order. Checks should be made payable to District 11 Basketball Officials. Do I need to make my own hotel reservation? How much is the hotel? Yes, we have arranged rates with some local hotels, although Carvers Bay is in a fairly rural area of Georgetown Co. The nearest hotels are in the City of Georgetown. What time is check-in? Don’t worry we’ll let you know through email before you come. Typically, from 8:00am – 10:00am in the lobby of Carvers Bay High School campers are given information bags/packets and other pertinent information. What is the camp schedule? An itinerary will be given to you at camp but will require checking in prior to noon. From 8am-10am will be classroom sessions and court assignments. Games begin at 10am day 1 and continue through day 2 at 8pm. There are no "off hours" for meals, so you will be scheduled in such a way that allows you to have meals, go to sessions and film break-down during your off hours. Additionally, the first night will feature a social hour where campers can discuss plays from the day and build camaraderie with each other. What is discussed during classroom sessions? Discussion topics will be about game management, conflict resolution, video breakdown, leadership, moving up the ladder, 3-person mechanics, etc... Can you help me if I need a roommate during camp? Most people don’t come down with a roommate and are searching for one just like you. When you register for camp answer “yes” in the “need a roommate” section and you will get a list of campers emailed to you that are looking for a roommate as well. Where is the camp located? The 2017 Camp is located in Hemingway, SC at Carvers Bay High School at 13002 Choppee Hwy, Hemingway, SC 29554. |
